Information Collected by Girls on the Run of Greater Summit
GOTRgreatersummit.org collects two types of information from users: personal data such as email address, name and address for online newsletter signup, event registration; and aggregated data such as information about traffic patterns (for example, how many users visit GOTRgreatersummit.org on a daily basis).
Our event registration process requires a name, address and event selection. Providing us with other information is at your option; we are not responsible for information collection via online donations and/or registration sites through our 3rd party payment partners. Girls On The Run of Greater Summit offers its own [free] Newsletter. Currently, this newsletter is emailed to the addresses that are provided by subscribers and other interested individuals by request. Our email marketing is permission based. If you received a mailing from us, our records indicate that (a) you have expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future (“opt-in”), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings."
To subscribe to such newsletters, we request your contact information, such as name and email address.
Disclosure of Information
Though Girls On The Run of Greater Summit makes every effort to preserve online users’ privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our organization.
