Our dream is to make our program accessible to all girls regardless of the families’ ability to pay.  By supporting Girls on the Run of Greater Summit, you make it possible. Of the girls participating, more than 50% receive partial to full scholarships. No matter how much you give, every dollar is used to change the lives of girls throughout the five counties of the Greater Summit territory.

WHAT IS SOLEMATES?

SoleMates is the adult charity running leg of Girls on the Run. We are male and female athletes who pursue individual oals, such as running in an event or participating in a triathlon, to raise money for local Girls on the Run councils. SoleMates provides a great opportunity to give girls an example of healthy living, while raising funds to sponsor a girl in the process. By joining SoleMates, you play a vital role in ensuring the future success of Girls on the Run of Greater Summit programs that impact the lives of hundreds of young women in our community each year.   

HOW SOLEMATES WORKS

• You can choose to participate in ANY race/triathlon of your choice
• Register online here
• SoleMates members agree to pay a non-refundable $10.00 registration fee. This covers the cost of your technical shirt and the set-up of your fundraising page. Then, ALL proceeds you raise will go directly to Girls on the Run of Greater Summit!
• Participation in SoleMates means that the runner/walker/triathlete agrees to raise a minimum of $150 (cost to sponsor one girl) on or before thirty (30) days after completing the race.
• Registration for SoleMates does not include registration to the actual race. The member must still register for the event of their choice independently.

The support you receive regardless of the event includes:

• Easy online sign-up process and personalized webpage to tell your story
• Sharp-looking GOTR SoleMates technical shirt upon reaching $150!
• Fun emails including fundraising suggestions and training tips
• FREE entry into the GOTR 5k to see your hard work in action!
